The ASM/IMS International Journal “Metallography, Microstructure, and Analysis” featured Paul Stavroulakis in the column “Dialogue with Emerging Engineers”. The interview is available at https://doi.org/10.1007/s13632-023-00970-2. Paul Stavroulakis is working at the Department of Metallography and Electron Optics carrying out projects regarding Data Science and Engineering, Failure Analysis, Process Development and Optimization. Paul Stavroulakis has graduated from the School of Mining and Metallurgical Engineering, National Technical University of Athens, Greece, and is a PhD candidate at the University of Sheffield, UK. His PhD -sponsored by Volkswagen AG, the EPSRC and supported by the Henry Royce Institute- is titled “Design of Lightweight High-Stiffness Multicomponent Alloys”. It concerns the design of novel alloys for automotive applications through a combination of computational and experimental techniques and is supervised by Prof. Russell Goodall and Dr. Colin L.
