Participation in CEST 2019, Rhodes, 4-7 September 2019

Msc. Chemist Vassiliki Gkogkaki and Dipl. Chemist K. Pantazis of the Analytical Chemistry Department of ELKEME presented the paper with the title “Method Development for the Determination of Heavy Metals such as Copper, Iron, Manganese and Zinc in Aluminum Alloys by ICP-OES, based on wastewater analysis method” authored by Ms. Vassiliki Gkogkaki, Mr. Alexandros Karageorgis and Mr. Konstantinos Pantazis, in the 16th International Conference on Environmental Science and Technology (CEST 2019) which was held in Rhodes, 4-7 September 2019.  Research groups working in Universities, research institutions, scientists, administrators, practitioners and the public were brought together in order to exchange views and opinions and promote collaboration.

The conference was hosted by the University of the Aegean in Greece in collaboration with the Region of South Aegean (Greece), the University of Salerno (Italy) and the Imperial College London (UK).

The full 4-day conference consisted of >400 participants from >70  countries. The program included >550 oral and poster presentations from 28 thematic areas. Participants also benefited from the interaction with 25 distinguished scientists that were invited and delivered plenary talks.
