The announcement with the title “Texture Evolution of Low Carbon Steel Wires Resulted from Prior Drawing Process” authored by Dr. A. Vazdirvanidis, Dr. G. Pantazopoulos, Ms. S. Papadopoulou, Ms. M. Katsivarda, Mr. A. Mastorakis and Mr. D. Kozaris was presented by Dr. A. Vazdirvanidis in the 18^th International Conference on Textures of Materials (ICOTOM 18), St George, USA. The main subject was the investigation of the grain structure and texture evolution of cold drawn, low carbon alloy steel wires by Optical, Scanning Electron Microscopy and Electron Backscatter Diffraction (EBSD).
