The paper with the title “Failure Analysis of Industrial Products and Components: From Identification to Process Based Approach”, authored by Dr. G. Pantazopoulos, Dr. A. Vazdirvanidis, Dr. A. Toulfatzis, Ms. S. Papadopoulou and Mr. A. Rikos was presented in the oral session “Failure Analysis: Industry Specific Failures” of Materials Science and Technology Conference (MS&T 2019), Portland OR, September 29- October 3, 2019. The paper presented characteristic case histories concerning fatigue related failures. Furthermore reference to process approach and risk prevention methodologies were also addressed. Dr. George Pantazopoulos participated in two Journal Editorial Board Meetings, as a member of the Metallography, Microstructure and Analysis and Journal of Failure Analysis and Prevention.  He also participated to Failure Analysis Society (FAS) General and Programming Committee meetings.
