Mrs. Theodora Pentovolou of the Analytical Chemistry Department of Elkeme participated in the latest 9th IMA Conference, which was held in Kalamata, Greece. This symposium was organized by the Department of Food Technology of Technological Educational Institute of Peloponnese and the Laboratory of Inorganic and Analytical Chemistry of the National Technical University of Athens.
The main topics focused on research in Food Analysis and Current Analytical trends related to a large spectrum of Spectrochemical, Electrochemical and Chromatographic techniques. This year’s IMA presentations included the new trend of combining analytical methods in chemical analysis dealing with difficult problems related to modern materials, food, environmental micro-pollutants of toxicological interest as well as the development on Analytical Instrumentation and applications related to a wide range of physical earth and life sciences.
